ContactDirectoryAI is an India-focused business directory built and maintained by a small team based in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. We started this project because we were frustrated with the same problem millions of Indians face every day — searching for a reliable local business online and ending up with outdated phone numbers, paid rankings, and listings that no longer exist.
We decided to build something different. A directory where every listing is manually reviewed before it goes live, where no business can buy its way to the top, and where the contact details you find are actually real and up to date.
Our Story
ContactDirectoryAI was founded in 2025 by Suhail Ahmed, a travel writer and local business researcher based in Jammu & Kashmir. Having spent years researching and writing about Indian destinations and local services, Suhail noticed a consistent gap — India had no reliable, human-curated business directory that served both tourists and locals equally well.
What started as a directory focused on Jammu & Kashmir has grown into a platform covering verified businesses across Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and beyond — with thousands of listings added and audited by our team.
What Makes Us Different
Most business directories in India work on a pay-to-rank model. Businesses that pay more appear at the top, regardless of their actual quality or reputation. We built ContactDirectoryAI to fix that.

Every business that appears on ContactDirectoryAI goes through a manual review before it is published. Our team checks the business’s online presence, customer reviews, contact details, and service reputation across multiple sources. If a business does not meet our standards, it does not get listed — regardless of how many times they apply.
We also use AI-assisted tools to scan for outdated or incorrect information across our existing listings, so that when you find a business here, the details you see are as accurate as possible.
Beyond the Directory
Over time we have expanded ContactDirectoryAI beyond just listings. We now offer 40+ free financial and tax calculators built specifically for Indian users — covering GST, income tax, EMI, HRA, and more. We also publish practical guides and city spotlights through our blog, and offer free courses to help small business owners get found online.
Everything on the platform is free for users. No login required, no subscription, no paywalls.
